The primary mission of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Division is maintenance and repair of Real Property and to support and enhance quality of life of our soldiers their families, employees and tenant units in USAG-Humphreys / Area III.
O&M Division has a sizable portion of the Public Works (DPW) mission and consists of the following shops: Carpenter, Metal, Paint, Roads & Grounds, Preventative Maintenance (PM), Pest Control, the Engineer Equipment Maintenance and Motor Pool, Self-Help Store, Electrical, Plumbing, Air-conditioning and heating, Kitchen equipment and the Korean Service Corps (KSC). Additional tasks, such as new construction, fabrication, maintenance or repair of non-real property items and exercise support, can be performed if the diversion of personnel and equipment does not deter from the primary mission.
O&M consists of nearly 200 craftsmen who perform numerous tasks. A few tasks, but certainly not all, are repairing leaking roofs and broken doors, broken gates and fences, interior and exterior painting, snow removal and high water control, fabricating unit/activity identification and direction signs, general building repairs, insect and weed control spraying, generator and crane support, plumbing, electrical. AC and heating support.
All work performed by O&M is scheduled by DPW's Business Operation and Integration Division (BOI). Customers request work to the O&M shops in the form of a Facility Engineer Work Request (DA 4283) or a Service Order. These are received at the Work Reception Desk located in Bldg S-2037.
